Looking Back

Looking back over the last two months we have had a great holiday season. But I am ready for it to be over. I have been on vacation from work since the 2oth and it has been great. Maybe I could get used to this part of it, but what a mess my house was and the toys....we have been taken over. So I was able to have some time to go through things before Christmas got here. Well here is a run down of how our holidays went. Hope everyone had a happy and safe one. And of course HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
  • Taelor moved back home with Bob and Wendy the first part of November. I guess Oklahoma just wasn't for her. Mostly I think she missed her friends and dance. Jenny only has until June and then hopefully she will be able to finish her schooling here. We'll keep our fingers crossed.

  • Thanksgiving was fun, but so is any day that involves great food. This year we got to spend it with my dad for the first time in I don't know how long. For those of you that don't know my dad has moved back to Utah. I was different but nice to have some holiday time with him.

  • We took the kids to my moms house and had a fun sledding party down her hill in the back. The kids had a good time and I think the dad's did too.

  • HAPPY BIRTHDAY ME!!!!! Boy are we getting old.

  • Christmas Eve we ate a good dinner at Wendy's house and Jayson and Tae made gingerbread houses. I let go of the needing things to be perfect and he was on his own this year. He did a great job. Then we went to my moms and just hung out for a while.

  • Christmas Day is always hectic but we seem to get it done. Santa brought some really neat things this year. And Jayson got a snowmobile from mom and dad. It is soooo dang cute and he just loves it.

  • Happy New Year!! How old are you when you sit at your sisters house on the couch and she falls asleep and you watch Dog the Bounty Hunter???? Really OLD and BORING.... well that is what our night consisted of. I think Jayson and Alyssa had fun celebrating with fireworks on New York time but that was it. However I did stay awake and watched that ball drop. Even got a New Year's KISS.
