So its now a new year and the start of a new decade...what to do with that??
Well after working for 9 years at HeritageWest CU I have decided to stay home and be a mom. Ha Ha yeah I know I find myself laughing some times too. I have been trying it out since just before Thanksgiving and it is starting to grow on me. My boys are wonderful and it has been fun to see Garrett grow instead of having a babysitter get all that glory. Garrett is growing super fast and just loves to suck on his little fist. We are working on that...I can't take that away but the binky I can. His eyes can't decide what color they want to be. One day they are blue, the next they are green and some days they seem to want to be brown. Who knows. Jayson is at a fun yet opinionated age. Wonder where he gets that. He just loves going to school this year at New Beginnings. I am so glad I switched. He is quite the mighty hunter and story teller. He got his first gun this year from Santa.... Look out bunnies and coyotes here he comes. Oh and he can out tell any man's hunting story by a long shot. Amazing the things that little brain can think up. Its like he is an old pro. Chris is busy working and supporting our family. I'm so glad he was willing to cinch that spending belt in order for me to stay home with our boys. Funny thing is...it is cheaper for me to stay home and we don't seem to be spending as much money. Well...anyways. I have been watching a friends little girl a few days a week for some extra money just in case. It has worked out well. She is the same age as Jayson and they are keeping each other entertained . So long story short...I'm staying home, spending less money, spending more time with my family and LOVING IT!!

Hi Nicole, it's Marci(Rusk), anyway I saw your blog through Maren's, and I thought I would say hi, hope that's ok. Your boys are so cute. It's exciting that you get to stay home to be with them. Take care.

Nicole I am so happy that you get to be home and raise your boys. Like you said you get the glory of seeing them grow up rather than a babysitter. Being a babysitter I feel guilty at times because I get to see the majority of what the baby does and says first.
Call me if you ever have a slow day and want to hang out.
